I ran into a similar issue using qt designer and found this video. Over 90 percent of questions asked here gets answered. Then you should write your code based on the window.py and don't need window.ui anymore, unless you modified it (you should redo the conversion). I didn't have that problem on the very same machine with beta2. Unsolved qt.
